Hi! My name is Ana!
I'm a digital illustrator and graphic designer living in Germany. You might know me as anam.draws on YouTube and Instagram.
For a long time, I kept art as a hobby, but in 2020, I moved to Germany —and that’s when I dove into digital art, learning, experimenting, and sharing my creations online. I’ve learned everything I know by myself, building my skills step by step. My journey in digital art is backed by decades of experience in traditional art, and I know one thing for sure: you need a solid understanding of the basics to create art that truly comes alive.

This course takes you through the complete process of creating expressive, story-driven characters in Adobe Photoshop — from your very first sketch to a fully finished digital illustration.
You’ll start by learning the essential Photoshop tools and setup for artists, then dive into anatomy, proportions, and gesture drawing to build strong foundations.
Step by step, you’ll explore character design principles like shape language, expression, and clothing — and discover how to use light, color, and atmosphere to give your characters depth and emotion. Finally, you’ll bring it all together in a polished, professional-quality artwork, ready to share with the world.
